Exotic cat is a love at first sight for me. When I first saw an exotic cat, I knew I had to have one...
My first exotic cat came from Blue Clermont cattery, I will always be grateful for Noemi Gyulai to let me have my first pedigreed cat, Bumbi. He is such a lovely boy.
I have learnt much about feline husbandry and health on the internet. The decision to start breeding this wonderful breed came quite naturally. It took me several months begging, thousands of emails and much persistence to purchase my first show cat, Angelika.
While searching for my first cat, I had time to think about why and how I would breed cats. I decided to do things my way. Breeding cats is not a business for me, rather an expensive hobby. I might lose a few sales, but I'll stick to my rules.
I feed my cats with the only truly balanced and healthy food: raw meat and bones. I make great efforts to make their food as safe as possible. In the light of the recurring pet food scandals, raw feeding IS a safe alternative. Being obligate carnivores, cats are just not designed to eat cereals (dry food) or cooked meat (canned food).
I have serious concernes about the health of pedigreed cats as a community. Inbreeding may produce stars in the show hall, but the price we pay for it is infertility, c-sections, cleft palate, blood-type incompatibily and whole bunch of other problems. Does it worth? My answer is no. I will do my best to produce healthy kittens, who perform well in the show hall. In this order of importance. The most important aspect of evaluating the quality of my cats will always be their ability to strive.
My cattery is a small cageless establishment. I can not offer kittens for sale constantly. When I do have kittens for sale, they are on the Babies page. Send me an email if you want to be informed on upcoming litters.
